The KS3 printing station provides a standalone desktop TIJ solution, enabling convenient marking of very small products that are otherwise difficult or cumbersome to label using conventional methods.

The item to be printed is placed on the precision-adjustable platform (equipped with a stop), and printing is triggered either via the button on top of the unit or the included foot switch.

• Single-color printing on glass, paper, cardboard, ceramics, metals (such as aluminum, cast iron, copper, steel, titanium, etc.), and plastics/polymers (PET, PVC, PE, HDPE, LDPE, PPR)
• 600 DPI print resolution (depends on the cartridge; the printhead is integrated into it)
• Store up to 250 templates in internal memory
• Interfaces: USB (for data transfer via flash drive), RS232, footswitch
• Compact dimensions: 17 cm x 15 cm x 17 cm
• Includes footswitch, power adapter, and positioning platform
• Includes 1 solvent ink cartridge – ink dries in seconds and is smudge-proof

Note: TIJ printing technology offers many advantages; however, it is important to note that this printing method requires periodic cleaning of the cartridge printhead (video example here). Conversely, the very fast-drying ink means the printhead is more prone to clogging than in conventional inkjet printers. Therefore, if the device has sat idle for an extended period without the cartridge being removed and resealed after use, a few test prints must be made to fully clear the nozzles.
