Thermal Inkjet (TIJ) printing is a type of inkjet printing in which small droplets of ink are ejected from tiny nozzles onto the paper. TIJ printers use a special ink that is heated by a heating element at the nozzle, causing it to vaporize. This process creates high-quality print results. The TIJ printing method offers many advantages, including high print quality and speed, as well as lower operating costs. Furthermore, the process is highly versatile and can print on various materials, including paper, cardboard, and foils.

Note: While TIJ printing technology offers many advantages, it is important to note that cleaning the cartridge's printhead from time to time is an inherent part of the process. (Video example here) Conversely, the very fast-drying ink means the printhead is more prone to clogging than in conventional inkjet printers. If the device has been idle for an extended period, several test prints must be made to fully clear the nozzles again.
