Information regarding the process after ordering labels:

After placing your order (usually within 1–3 business days), you will receive a digital preview and a proof of your hand-held labeler labels via email. Once you approve the proof, the labels can be printed. Please allow for a total production time of approx. 12–15 working days (depending on factory workload and machine scheduling).

Label format

"Label format" refers to both the size of your price labels (e.g., 26x12 mm) and the die-cut shape (e.g., wavy edge, as shown in the example below):

Information on adhesive strengths

Select the adhesive strength based on your needs. Please note that removable labels for handheld labelers have a guaranteed shelf life of 12 months; after this period, the adhesive strength gradually diminishes. Standard adhesive labels or labels for deep-freeze applications can be stored for a good 24–36 months.

Information on security cuts

Labels with security cuts can be used to prevent customers from transferring custom price labels (featuring your company name and logo) from one item to another. These are labels with multiple perforations; once applied, they cannot be moved without the tampering becoming apparent.

Information on multi-colored printing

Our printing process is designed for the mass production of price labels and allows for up to three-color printing, provided the design does not involve photographs or similarly complex imagery (e.g., color gradients). Typically, simple graphics, logos, drawings, and text are used. The following standard colors are available for label printing:

Information on print position

In principle, the entire label surface—up to 1 mm from the edge—is available for printing. Since a portion of the price label is usually required for the imprint from the handheld labeler, the pre-printed design is placed either above, below, or between the areas reserved for the labeler's imprint. Please let us know where on the label you would like the pre-printed design to appear.

Information on print text

The amount of available space varies depending on the label format used. Please ensure that the text is not excessive; the print should remain easily readable without strain. In addition to the text itself, please specify your preferred font (e.g., Arial, Tahoma, Sans Serif, etc.) and formatting (e.g., bold, italic, bold and italic, etc.).

Information on logo upload

Here, you can provide a graphic illustrating how the final print should look. Use the upload function to send us your logo, the graphic to be printed, or text in image format. Alternatively, you can send us the necessary data via email to service@cunu.de.
