Product description

The Blitz numbering gun counts, numbers, prints, and dispenses 26x12 mm labels according to your specified settings. Options include "simple counting," counting in pairs, or a "non-counting labeling function" (where you make all settings manually).

The "Blitz Textile mod 2644" numbering gun is equipped with a mechanical counting and printing mechanism. This batch-marking tool prints on 26x12mm labels according to your specific settings. Available functions include, for example, "simple counting" (where the value set on the last 4 digits increases by one with each trigger pull) and "paired counting." With the latter function, two labels with the same imprint are dispensed before the counter advances by one.

These marking tools with counting mechanisms are designed for counting, numbering, and labeling. Their utility becomes particularly apparent during inventory checks or when marking textiles or other items in pairs. Laboratories and testing facilities also utilize these counting machines. Unlike standard marking guns, where you must reset the imprint for every label, the Blitz batch-marking/numbering gun automatically advances the count according to your settings.

The illustration of the printing mechanism on the Blitz Textil e mod 2644 numbering unit highlights its functions and printing capabilities:

The first four digits are smaller than the subsequent ones and are manually set as desired using a small rotary wheel attached to the printing mechanism. To do this, pull the adjustment wheel to the left, out of the numbering unit, until a pointer in the "display" indicates the position to be changed. Rotating the wheel selects the specific value or print character for that position. If one or more print positions are not required, they can be set to "blind" (blank) mode, meaning nothing is stamped at that position.

In contrast, the last four digits are always stamped. The mechanical counter mechanism is integrated here. The desired counting method or function is determined by positioning the pointer (by pulling out the selector or slider) at the specifically marked locations.

Since the manufacturer's enclosed instruction manual—unlike the product itself—is unfortunately poorly written and difficult to understand, we have outlined the available settings and operating modes for this batch labeler below:

If you set the marker to the position "between the 1st and 2nd line," the device does not increment the count; instead, it stamps the value currently shown on the display. This corresponds to the operation of a standard price gun. If the marker is set to the 2nd line, the tens digit increments in pairs—i.e., 0001, 0001, 0011, 0011, 0021, 0021, 0031, 0031, etc. Naturally, the numbering positions can be manually reset to 0 or any desired number at any time. Please ensure that, after making manual adjustments, you slide the control back to the original position corresponding to your desired operating mode.
