Price labels for goods discounted prior to their expiration date – not every discounted item can be individually re-entered into the POS system when the price is reduced. Goods that are marked down due to approaching expiration dates or other deviations from standard specifications are therefore labeled manually. This is a time- and cost-saving solution.

Using the corresponding labeling gun (see "compatible products / similar products"), the regular price is printed in the top right corner of the label—positioned over the area marked with a strikethrough symbol. The new, reduced price is stamped in large print by the same gun beneath the pre-printed "Vor Ablauf" (Before Expiration) notice. This ensures the price reduction immediately catches the customer's eye; the label serves as an attention-grabber.
