Some retailers also require EAN codes and additional information such as the laying date and cooling date. To be certain, please clarify the required details with your main buyer or the authority responsible for assigning packing center numbers in your federal state (e.g., the Gießen Regional Council for Hesse). Unfortunately, there is no uniform, mandatory regulation applicable nationwide.
