Adhesive strength 5 = TK = Deep-freeze (Item No. A36100050-02, A36100050-02-VE01) – Contact deep-freeze labels are designed specifically for use in deep-freeze environments. Ensure the surface is clean when applying the label. Initial tack: 12 N/25mm (FTM 9 Glass), 90° peel adhesion: 6.5 N/25mm (FTM 2 St.St.), Minimum application temperature: -20°C, Service temperature: -50°C to 70°C. The adhesive is specially designed for use at low temperatures and in deep-freeze conditions. It offers good initial tack and final adhesion on a wide variety of packaging materials—such as paper, cardboard, and film—including non-polar, curved, or irregular surfaces.
Adhesive grade 2 = permanent = standard (Item number: A36100020-02, A36100020-02-VE01) (this is printed on the back of the liner to allow for identification). It is classified as permanent because the high-tack adhesive bonds effectively with paper surfaces, making the label difficult to remove. Permanent adhesive is the standard for price labels and is used in 90% of all cases. We stock white Contact labels with adhesive grade 2. The manufacturer specifies a maximum shelf life of 48 months.
