Start with seating and contacts
An interrupted print can have several causes. Following the equipment instructions, check that the cartridge is seated correctly and its contacts are clean. Do not scrape the nozzles or contacts with hard objects.
Use a cleaning method appropriate to the ink
The described solvent cartridges are maintained by gentle wiping with a soft, lint-free cloth. Use isopropanol only where permitted by the cartridge and equipment instructions. Egg-marking inks may require a different method; follow the instructions for that specific ink.
Cap the cartridge after use
Solvent ink can dry at exposed nozzles. Remove the cartridge as directed and fit the intended protective cap. For persistent faults, provide a print sample and the equipment model. Switching nozzle rows on compatible 12.7 mm systems can help diagnose a fault; it is not a repair.
